with my arms open wide
so i was thinking about all the wonderful things i got to do this weekend:
friday night there was dinner with El, stealing no-bake cookies from an empty apartment, drinking a stranger's lime juice, exploring people's fridges without permission, sitting in the middle of the road only to be offered pizza by someone who drove by, being in buildings i wasn't supposed to be in, and watching a bunny hop down the street faster than I've seen a bunny move in real life. i used to own a bunny. its name was Magic, like Magic Johnson, and he was a wonderful bunny. he used to jump over my dog while she was laying in the grass. but we let Magic out the day before easter to get some excercise, as was usual, and he escaped. coincidence? you tell me
saturday there was driving home, "swimming" in my parents' brand new water feature (seriously, it's huge and wonderful), making dinner with two of my favorite people in the whole world, surprising my mom, watching gidget, and falling in love with moondoggie.
sunday there was church, my friend Jenny who never fails to make me laugh, seeing my little cousin who brightens my life everytime i see him, going to the "yellow place" for brunch with my grandparents, more gidget... she went to rome and hawaii, barbeque with almost the entire family, watching all my relatives fight over the baby, and getting a call from Travis telling me to come to crescent city.
all in all, it was a great weekend that blessed me in so many ways! Leah and Kels spent the night last night spur of the moment and it was so sweet to wake up and see them in my living room. i love my life so much. i even had life for breakfast, with almond milk. that was pretty good too. we're going to have company for dinner tonight... pizza, beans, raspberry tea. wahoo
