tell me about it
i think that the hardest part of getting a job is filling out the applications. I have no problem going into an establishment and asking if they are hiring. No, that part is cake. It's the filling out 10 applications when you get home that sucks. I think there should be some universal application that you can fill out and turn in everywhere, instead of writing the same thing ten times. It's like that punishment where they would make you write words on the chalkboard like "I will not remove boogers from my nose and stick them in other people's hair" or "I will not throw my desk at the teacher when she gives me a deadline" or "I will not light Patty Odenweller's desk on fire and laugh with an evil delight." It is exactly like all of those things.
On a different note, I have decided that I really don't hate Patty Odenweller. Did you know that she is a single mom raising two adolescent daughters? Now I just want to take her out to coffee and give her feet a massage (or pay someone else to do that). Oh well, maybe the girls working there this summer can help her smile and be a nice, pleasant woman. We'll see, won't we.
As you can tell, blogging is one of my favorite pasttimes and I do it all the time. The only thing is that I feel completely blog illiterate. I don't even know how to post my picture or make my blog look half as cool as Britt's. Maybe when she reads this she can leave me a little comment with some tips (hint, hint).
The time has come, the Walrus said, to talk of many things. Of shoes and ships and ceiling wax. Of cabbages and kings. Of why the sea is boiling hot and whether pigs have wings. No, that's not right... the time has come for me to finish filling out applications. But I will leave you with a list of things that I have done this week (including Sunday):
- went to church and heard about missions we are involved in. WONDERFUL!!!
- spent an hour in my parked car
- bought Liquid Plummer
- used Liquid Plummer in bathtub
- bought groceries
- picked up a butt load of applications
- filled out said applications
- blogged for the second time in my life
- bought grown-up clothes while on the phone with Britt
- watched a couple of movies (no, I will not reveal the exact number)
- made a mother's day present for my mom
I'm sure that there are other things I could put on that list, but right now I am just too excited for the Free Willy marathon I am going to tonight. That's right, all 3 Free Willys in ONE amazing night.

Okay Willy.... oh Willy... I'm not gonna lie, I might have been tearing up a bit.
I just never knew that THAT lead to sex.
I forgot to say this is my other comment, but filling out applications does suck!
One summer when the economy sucked super bad, I filled out 35 applications! ah! Talk about hours and hours of writting all for hardly anything.
Posting pics, eh? I'll have to coach you through it.
